Maui

This was such an Awesome Vacation. When I booked this over a year ago I figured the kids would have fun. We also took my mother-in-law for her first time to Hawaii. I never dreamed they would have this much fun. Even Wyatt, we could not keep him out of the water. He just absolutly loved it. We started out at Lahina and did a whale watch tour. Awesome, we saw so many whales I can't even count them. The kids were amazed. While in the city we saw the Banyon Tree(Biggest Tree in the world), and the museums and history in this town was alot of fun. We then hit beach after beach after beach. Then the Ocean Center was alot of fun to see all the fish that are around Hawaii. Alot of these we were able to see snokling. This was Taylors first snorkling experiance and he saw an octopus. Once again it was awesome. After that we went to a Luau. I wasn't sure the kids would like this because it was late, but they were wide eyed and bushy tailed all night long. We went up to the Volcano next can I say COLD. We went from 80 to 40 with wind and rain. Crazy but fun to see. On the way back down the mountain we saw rainbows, phesants, and of course chickens. We also deceided to try the road to Hana(I know daring) and once again the kids did awesome. I enjoyed it more this time than the first. Brooklyn really wanted to drink cocanut juice right from a cocanut so we found a shaq and we all tried it(they didn't like it). After that we did more boogie boarding and snorkling. Fun Fun Fun. I had a hard time deceiding which picture to post so here is just a few...

Learning as we go...

As we all know life has its ups and downs. It's how we react to these that can make us or break us. Going through this I have had feelings of both. It's been all of you that have kept me from breaking. Just when you feel life is too tough one of you come along to pull me back up. As much as I want to do this by myself I have learned that I can't and I think that's what I 'm suppose to learn. I want so bad to be feeling great, on top of the world, but then again what lesson would I learn. I am in continual awe at the thoughtfulness and kindness so many have shown to me as I continue to learn and grow one step at a time. I could not do this without all of you, especially Brandon as he's had to take on so much emotionally and physically. I can't not tell you thank you enough or how much this has meant to me. Please be patient God isn't finished with me yet.

Surgery

Well it's all said and done. My Dad is doing really good. When he went into surgery his kreatin was 11.9 tonight it was 2.9. We went into the Hospital at 5:00 a.m. and I got out at 11:30 p.m. Truthfully I can't tell you what time my dad got out because I did not see him until the day after at 4:45 a.m. He said he is feeling like he did 20 years ago. I am so glad that this was hopefully worth all the pain. It has been hard but to see him the way he is now is a true miracle. Thank you Thank you Thank you to all of you who cared and were there for me threw all of this. It has definitely been a roller coaster ride. I never realized how many people cared. Thank you. I can't find the words to describe how wonderful some of you are. You've talked with me, walked with me and cared for me, what more could I ask for. My Dad has always been my hero. This was the least I could do for him. I could not have done any of this without the love and support that Brandon has given me. He has been my shoulder to lean on, cry on, and to hold me up when I could not do it myself. He is the Love of my life and will be forever. I Love you all!
Merry Christmas to you all.

Thanksgiving

I love this Holiday. What better way to spend a day than to remember all that you are thankful for. This year has been wonderful. The past couple of weeks have been a little crazy as I continue to do test after test for this Kidney Transplant. But the thing that has been the craziest is that as I was researching more about what would happen. There was a a fact that caught my attention more than the others. It said that 1 in a thousand somthing die from this surgery. And it made me think am I ready to go now? I don't think many of us are ready to go, but as I thought about my life I thought there is not one thing that I regret or would want to change before I die if it so be now. But on this Thanksgiving day there are many I am thinking of and so Thankful for. I have the most AMAZING husband anyone could ask for and 4 BEAUTIFUL children. Brandon has been so supportive in all that I am and do I am truly blessed! Taylor, Brooklyn, Kiley and Wyatt are all such a bundle of joy. There is not a day that goes by that one of them doesnt make me laugh. I have been blessed with such wonderful parents. I love them to death and would do anything for them. My sisters are all a bundle of joy all wrapped up. I get a kick out of all of them. They bring so much to me in my life. Thank you. I have a wonderful mother-in-law whom I am so blessed to have in my life and my kids life. This calling in the Relief Society has brought me so many blessings. I have met some of the sweetest, talented sisters who have now become friends. I haven't had so many girls nights in my life. I LOVE IT! I don't think it fully hit me until I've been doing all this testing and I have had so many of you want to help. That means so much to me. Thank you! You have touched my life in more ways than you know. The list can go on, but I think I should go to bed. Thank you again to all of you who are such a blessing to me and my family.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
