2012

As 2012 comes to a close and 2013 is coming up I sit here and think of all the fun, hard,challenging, exciting things that have happened in 2012. This book is fun to see some of the highlights but as we can't capture everything in a picture we had a lot of ups and down's. With the boat being totaled this year, the changes in the company, Bj passed his EMT course, our miracle when Bj broke his nose in Mesquite, and many many more things I can't seem to think of right now. We have truly been blessed this year beyond measure and count our blessings every day!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day at Grandma Holt's. This year we were there with Lisa's family to open gifts from Grandma. It was nice and not so crazy. We stayed for lunch and then visited with the family as they came and went. We then came home and Bj took a nap as I made soup for dinner. We then got everything ready to go out to Angie's house for dinner and a night of sledding. It was a good Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning at our House - The big things the kids received this year were Taylor and Brooklyn received their first guns after passing hunters safety, Kiley received her first bow and Wyatt loved everything. It is so fun at our house on Christmas Morning as the kids are just as excited for their new toothbrushes as they are for their other gifts.

Biroge Christmas Party

This year was a crazy year for the Biorge Christmas Eve Party - With people being late that effects everyone beyond our family into the extended family it made for a crazy night. Luckily for us we got snow so Bj was out pushing snow all night.

Grandma Holt's Christmas Party

December 23, 2012 Grandma Holt's Christmas Party - This year the Koyle Family had us for Christmas and unfortunately they couldn't be here but they defiantly spoiled us. The kids all had fun in their crazy hats! 

Sledding

Sledding up Squaw Peak - We are loving the snow this year! The kids are loving the sledding this year as last year we didn't get to go much. We love the Snow!

Wyatt's Christmas Program

Wyatt's School Christmas Program - His program was at BYU and he was a Drummer Boy. He was so cute he kept waving to us threw out the whole program. This year Brandon and I, Erik Merrill and Grandma Holt were able to watch how cute he was.

cRAZy hAiR DaY

The kids earned a Crazy Hair Day at School. As you can see Crazy Hair Day might also go with Crazy Kid Day!

Brooklyn's Choir

Brooklyn is in the School Choir this year. So far she has had many performances from Macey's to BYU. She has loved this new opportunity and is doing very well.

Gilbert Christmas Party

Gilbert Family Christmas Party - This year we crashed the family Christmas Party! As the boys were trapping we were getting to know the Gilberts' a little better. Kiley was brave enough to play her Christmas song on the piano during the talent show. The kids loved seeing the zebra with Santa. Thank you Gilberts for the games, talents and fun!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2012 - This year Taylor and Bj went to the Turkey Bowl, then we went to Grandma Holts for Thanksgiving. As always we had a lot to be Thankful for this year as we had many changes and challenges with work that we were blessed to get threw them together and come out better for going threw the them.

Kiley's Basketball

This was Kiley's first year playing Basketball. She was so excited when Brandon said he could coach her team. They had a Fantastic year full of learning, growing and lots of fun. It was a lot of fun to watch them. They did very good and learned a lot. It was a fun year.

Halloween Fun!

Halloween is always a lot of fun at our house. The School Halloween Parade is always fun to see all of the kids creative costumes. My parents came down to be with us and share in the joy, which was fun for the kids to have them here. Then we headed over to the Trunk or Treat for lots of candy. Then to Grandma Holts for her famous Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup and Doughnuts. Then to finish off the night with a bon fire at our friends the Packers. Good Times!

Primary Program

We were lucky enough to have our family come support our kids in their Primary Program this year. They did a good job. Thanks Everyone!

Halloween Carnival

Our Ward Halloween Carnival. As you can see the kids enjoyed going form booth to booth to Haunted Garage and then had lots of soup and rolls. The weather held up nice and the kids enjoyed every minute of it!

Swimming

Dinner and Swimming up in Park City for Abby's birthday. The kids always love to swim and swimming with their cousins was just and added bonus. Happy Birthday Abby!

Canada 2012

This year Canada was switched all up. Eric Merrill, Bj, Taylor, Brooklyn and Kiley went to Canada. They had a Blast! Bj said it was a once in a life time hunt. In all the years he has hunted Canada he has never seen one like this year. They had so much fun, the weather stayed warm for the kids, they shot more geese and ducks than they knew what to do with. The kids Loved Jim and Lorna's horses. Lots of Fun and Memories made this year.

Corbelly's

We went to Corbelly's for Jamin's birthday this year. Shell and Kevin spoiled us. The kids rode horses played lots of games for prizes, we took a hay ride and best of all celebrated Jamin's birthday with everyone. The weather was perfect for a fun family day!

Frightmares!

Frightmares 2012 - I don't know how we keep getting so lucky to once again have a perfect day at Lagoon. The weather was so beautiful the lines were short if there were any and the best part of all was the giggles from the kids. We all had a Blast! Thanks Mom!

Izzy's Puppies

We had quite an adventure with Izzy's delivery of her puppies. She had to go in for an emergency c-section and out of 8 puppies only 4 lived. One white one and 3 black. Two Male and Two Female. The kids have had so much fun watching the puppies grow and to be able to play with them. Puppies are so much Fun!

Girls Night Out

Angie and her girls invited us to go on a Girls Night Out overnight in Salt Lake with them. We did a lot of shopping, eating, glitter toes and nails, and lots swimming. They had a good time being together!

Peach Days

Once again here we are at Peach Days in Brigham City. We started the day out at the Parade then we headed over to the new Temple where the open house was going on and we were able to all go threw the temple. Then we headed over to Maddox for lunch then back to peach days to walk threw the shops. Holly and Ash weren't with us when we went threw the temple so I went again with them then we walked the shops had snow cones, went to Grandpa and Grandma Biorge's then came home. It was a long but fun day the highlight was the Temple.

Wyatt Soccer

This year Wyatt wasn't old enough to play T-Ball yet so him and his friend wanted to play soccer. He is our first kid to play soccer and absolutely loves it. He is learning fast and having a ball!

Camping 2012

We didn't get many pictures this year but we had a lot of fun. This year two of our friends brought their campers up and camped most of the weekends with us. We saw a lot of animals from deer to elk to bear, moose and squirrel. Wyatt was stung by a bee and his ear swelled all up and stuck out. He was a good sport about it but it was awfully funny. Bj and Erik saw this bear up a tree with many stories to tell about their adventurous hikes trying to find a cow Elk. They even talked Mark into taking a couple with them. Besides my head injury we had another great year in the great outdoors with lots of memeories made ;)

Utah County Fair

Utah County Fair - Coming to the Utah County Fair has become a family tradition. We walk threw the vendors, get free stuff, see the animals and odd things. But the best part is Just having fun together!

Dinosaur Museum

Dinosaur Museum 2012 - The kids always have a lot of fun at the Dinosaur Museum. They all said playing in the sand is their favorite part ( Besides being scared by the Shark!)

Ross' Wedding

We were able to go up to Joe's Valley and help with Ross' Wedding. It was a really nice day, the Wedding was at Trent's cabin then the Reception at the Marina. We wish both of them all the Best!

Orem Owls Game

Every year the kids look forward to going to the Orem Owls Games. Taylor and Noah were here too just off playing. Wyatt kept following Holly the Owl all around asking her questions, it was cute he Loved it! I always love this kind of summer fun!!!

Nelson Reunion 2012

Grandma Holt was in charge of the Nelson Family Reunion this year so we started out with a dinner in the park on Thursday, Swimming at Veterans Pool and Park Friday, Then on Saturday she rented this park where we were able to Zip Line, Swing, Canoe and Ball Jump. We were doing back flips on the swing and of course Bj didn't catch Angie and I doing the back flips he just caught us when we were stuck in the middle ;) It was a lot of fun and it is always nice to see family we don't get to see very often.

Brooklyn's Softball 2012

Brooklyn had a great year coming back to Softball this year. Her Dad was able to coach her this year and they made it the whole season without losing a game and made it to play in the State Games. She had a lot of fun, met a lot of new friends and learned a lot. Good Job Brooklyn!

July 24th

July 24th here we are again celebrating in Huntington - We celebrated Wess and Kevin's Birthday, went swimming, watched movies and of course Taylor had to go fishing. It's always nice to spend time with family and be able to relax and have fun!

July 4th 2012

For the 4th of July this year we went down to Huntington with Kevin and Shell. The Huntington Parade was probably one of my favorites. It wasn't crowded so the kids were able to get a lot of candy and have fun, after the parade they had two fields filled with blow up toys for the kids to play on for free. We watched movie's, went fishing on Ross and Wess' property and had a BBQ then a little firework show after because of all of the fires out there. As we were coming home the that night the mountains were glowing.

Sidewalk of Fire 2012

Sidewalk of Fire 2012 - As always we had a lot of fun. This year I had my girls to play with and some how was pulled into a food eating - half a gallon of ice cream contest, but it was a lot of fun to see friends, dance and watch fireworks.

Girls Camp 2012

I was able to go to Girls Camp with our Cute Cute girls - I was so scared to go and didn't know the girls and was not in YW and then to have to  leave my family, but I went anyway and then we were evacuated from our camp, but we were able to get a cabin and ended up having an absolute Blast with the Girls. It's fun to be a girl!

Father's Day

I am so blessed to have two Wonderful, Amazing Fathers in my life! This weekend we were able to go to a Retreat called Stillwater in Heber to celebrate Father's Day with my Dad. We went up Saturday after Kiley's softball game and had lunch with the family, then Bj, Erik and Taylor went to Strawberry fishing while we stayed to play in the pool. We had so much fun playing, talking and just being together. Then on Sunday we spent the day with Bj who continually amazes me at how Great a Dad he is. They way he loves to play with the kids, support the kids, teach the kids and love the kids. I am truly truly blessed. Happy Fathers Day!

Lagoon 2012

Lagoon 2012 - I don't know how we keep getting so Lucky as to pick Perfect Days to go to Lagoon. We had so much fun. The lines were great the kids had a blast, we enjoyed spending time with the family and just having fun. Wyatt was such a hoot. He loved the rides and would just giggle and giggle. Precious Memories!

Bowling

The kids always love to go Bowling. Summer has begun and the fun just started!

Memorial Day Weekend

I forgot to mention Memorial Day Weekend - we headed up to Strawberry to do some camping. We took our camper up the weekend before to reserve a spot and spent the night with the kids and had an amazing time. The weather was perfect we were the only ones up there so we saw lots and lots of deer. So on Memorial day the weather didn't cooperate as well and on Saturday it started raining so we ended up leaving the campers up there coming home going on a date night to dinner and a movie with friends, then on Sunday when the weather was better we headed back up and had a good ole time. It was fun having two of our friends with campers to come join us on our Adventures. 

Perfect Fishing Day

Dad the kids and friends had a Perfect Day of Fishing at Strawberry Reservoir - These are just the fish they kept. They had a great day with Wyatt catching the big one :) The only downfall to the day was having the boat roll on the drive home :( I guess all good things come to an end.

Kiley's Softball

Kiley has sure enjoyed playing softball this year. It is crazy how fast they learn and grow. I am glad she is having fun!

Happy Birthday Tay!

Our Taylor turned 11 - He had a fun filled birthday with boating with his friends on a perfect weather day, a new bow from Dad, and lots of laughs and good times, we are blessed to have such a sweet, kind, funny boy be a part of our family. We Love You Tay and are glad you had such a good day!

Taylor's Last Pine Wood Derby

 

Taylor's Last Pine Wood Derby - He loved making his car with his Dad and to top it all off he came in 3rd place. Which is really good despite all the drama this year. Glad he had fun and glad we have awhile till we have to do it again :)

Pirates and Mermaids - The girls dance recital was really cute, they had half of the class as Pirates and half as Mermaids. It was really fun to have them get to dance together and have a Blast!

Battlecreek Falls

Brandon and I went on this hike with Taylor's Scout Troop and thought it would be a fun one for the whole family to enojoy. It was a perfect day where it was not too hot and not to cold, so after Taylor's Ballgame we headed out with Greandma Holt to add to our adventures. Everyone did good so after the hike we headed to Olive Garden to celebrate Kiley's Birthday. I Love Days like this!

Happy Birthday Kiley!!!

Happy Birthday to our Cute, Laughable, Funny, Honest Kiley! Kiley had many fun filled days full of birthday joy. She had her friend party, then we went hiking and out to Olive Garden. Then on her real birthday she was lucky enough to have her dad make her favorite breakfast of Swedish Pancakes then we went to church then to grandma's for dinner then for a family bike ride then to the play at the park.  I think she was really spoiled!!

Girls Family Birthday Party

We had a Family Birthday Party for girls after the Piano Recital where everyone came over for a BBQ then we headed up to Peaks Arena for some Ice Skating. Good Times!

Taylor and Brooklyn played good at the piano recital they each had two peices they memorized and one duet that they played together on. Good Job you two!
